FULL CREDIT TO THE METS AND WAGNER

After his disastrous outing on Saturday, Billy Wagner came up trumps, albeit with a little wobble. The banged up Yankees fought well, against a Mets team that have real potential in them. Bear in mind though, it was the bottom of the Yankee order, the ones that ordinarily should not have been playing, that gave the Mets the most trouble. Was it a lack of scouting by the Mets or a group of players fighting for a place on the coveted roster. The Big bats gave us absolutely nothing in the crunch, by and large. What would the outcome have been had Damon, Jeter, Giambi and A-Rod performed. Not making excuses at all. After all it was the Met pitching that stopped them….

Beltran, Wright, Delgado, Floyd, Reyes. WOW Met fans you have a lot to look forward to.. As I have said before, It takes a lot to rattle me, as I am a sports fan, who happens to nail his colors to the mast. But I will ALWAYS give credit where its due..

Onwards and forward to Fenway we go, Hoping for some wins. As for the Mets, See ya over July 4Th weekend down river ave..

So here it is. Yankees/Sox part 3.. Bring it on

INTERLEAGUE BORING?????????

So the Interleague series’ are boring, meaningless and only for local fan rivalries. So said many commentators this morning on local and national, T.V. and Radio.. Well after todays games, they can devour their words, with a huge dose of humble pie..

BORING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I ask ya…. Tell that to the, Mets, Cardinals, Dodgers, Athletics, Diamondbacks, Devil Rays, and Astros players..

Last gasp wins, extra innings and record breakers, littered the Majors.. It was a truly fantastic advertisement, for our beloved game of Baseball, providing you weren’t on the losing side of the scoreline, like my desperate Yankees..

Oh and the Red Sox won aswell, isn’t that right Cyn…….

POOR METS!!!!!!! NOW POOR YANKEES ASWELL

4 runs on 5 hits, 2 left on and Randy struckout… All in the 1st….. Ouch!!!!!!!!

Yeah I put the hex on the Yankees.. I KNOW

At least we held the lead thru 1 full inning  WOW

So Johnson and Posada have had a row?????? Stinnett is in. Jorge didn’t look injured…

:::::UPDATE:::::  Posada has back spasms…

5-5 top of 4th, never would have thought it

Not the best of games….6-6 top of 8th.. Crazy start, settled down somewhat

IT’S INTERLEAGUE TIME

So it’s that time of year again. Unfortunately some Interleague match-ups don’t whet the appetite. The Chicago (north-south) series, The Freeway series in L.A., The Bay Area series, and of course, the one and only subway series here in New York grasp the imagination.

No doubt many of you have your own thoughts, comments and predictions on the weekends games, so feel free to leave them here. Enjoy it whom ever you are rooting for..
