The "Wright" or wrong stuff

I'm gonna be controversial here now and bark about Jared Wrong.. I don't think he has it. My heart hits me sneakers with a resounding thud when i hear him being put in the rotation. I know you will all point out that he had a good relief performance early in the season on the Sunny west coast, but he is not a true starter anymore. With Aaron Small coming back possibly on Sunday, and more than likely, Leftie Mat Smith going back to AAA, It's a move I wouldn't make.

Personally I would keep Smith in Mo's Pen and designate Wrong for assignment. He is pitching against a vastly improved, and very good team, Toronto, tonight, under the hexed lights of the stadium. A hugely expectant crowd will chant his name, and he in all probability succumb to the pressure.

Putting Small into the 5 man rotation and relieving Wrong of his duties leaves the bullpen 1 short. Could we offer Wrong plus one (maybe Tony Pena) as fodder for a healthy, proven, mentally tough long reliever/starter. Heck even throw Tanyon Dirtze!!!! into the deal.. I'm not being condescending to other teams by saying they could need them, but a change of scenery and less pressure to perform could help their careers. And that is what is important.. Everyone from owners to fans to players to coaches being happy.
